“Gamston Lock strikes a fine balance for those needing to be near Nottingham without the city bustle. I found the comfort of the rooms, coupled with the genuine welcome from staff like Andrew and Tracey, creates a truly grounded atmosphere. The adjoining pub certainly adds a practical, enjoyable dimension, especially with its surprisingly good food and the unexpected delight of Tiff the pub dog.”
